Who I Am
Hi, Iām Shubham š.
I'm a backend and distributed systems engineer with about 4 years of experience building software that (mostly) doesn't crash. I care deeply about reliability, observability, and making complex systems understandable.
What I Work On
My work revolves around data-heavy systems and infrastructure. I prefer simple, boring architectures that are easy to debug over clever, complex ones that are "impressive" until they break at 3 AM. I believe developer experience is a feature, not an afterthought.
How I Think About Software
- Reliability First: If you can't trust it, it doesn't matter how fast it is.
- Observability: I want to know why it broke before the users do.
- Simplicity: Complexity is the enemy of maintenance.
